How billing works

Billing flow: from credits to final cost Transparent at every step

From credits to final cost, here is exactly how UnaGo calculates what you pay for every operation.

1. Credits as currency

Every operation on UnaGo is priced in credits. 1 credit = $0.005. Buy credits upfront or auto-top-up when your balance runs low.

2. Base rate calculation

When you run an operation, the platform calculates the base cost from the provider's wholesale rate. For example, GPT Image 2 costs $0.10 per image at base rate.

3. Platform margin (20%)

UnaGo adds a 20% margin on top of the base rate. So a $0.10 image becomes $0.12, charged as 24 credits from your balance.

4. Token-based billing

For token models, costs are calculated per 1K tokens. Input tokens, output tokens, and cached tokens each have separate rates. A 10K-token conversation with Global Smart costs about 2.4 + 8.2 = 10.6 credits.

5. Per-call billing

For media operations (images, video, audio), credits are deducted per call. Video generation is the most expensive: Veo 3.1 at 4K costs 768 credits ($3.84) per video.

6. Track and manage

What is a credit and how much is it worth?

1 credit equals $0.005. Credits are the universal currency across UnaGo - every operation, from image generation to LLM calls, is priced in credits. You buy credits upfront and they are deducted as you use the platform.

How does the 20% platform margin work?

UnaGo adds a 20% margin on top of the wholesale provider cost. For example, GPT Image 2 costs $0.10 per image at base rate from the provider. With the 20% margin, you pay $0.12 (24 credits). This margin covers platform infrastructure, API routing, and support.

How are LLM token costs calculated?

Token models are billed per 1K tokens with separate rates for input, output, and cached tokens. For example, Global Smart (GLM 5.2) charges 0.24 credits per 1K input tokens and 0.82 credits per 1K output tokens. A 10K-token conversation (5K in, 5K out) costs about 5.3 credits ($0.027).

What is the most expensive image generation model?

Cached tokens are discounted input tokens that the model has already processed. For example, GLM 5.2 Thinking charges 0.036 credits per 1K cached tokens versus 0.356 for regular input - a 90% discount. Caching is automatic for repeated context.
